newbb png transparency problem on IE

My site runs smootlhy on firefox, but when i use IE transparency efects dont work. I only need them to work on CBB.
On preferences of that modul there is an option that is supossed to enable it, but when i hit it nothing happens.

xoops Version 2.0.17
Cbb version is 3.08

Try updating the module after enabling that option.

check if youu have <{$xoops_module_header}> in your theme ...

You may use the javascript fix for IE to fix the problem:

thnx, i tried but couldn solve it.
Insted I setted the module on auto so it opens png on FF and gif on Ie.
