Getting a blank home page - how to debug?

Hi,

This is new installation of xoops-2.0.17.1. There was no error during the installation process. But I am getting a blank home page.

What is the best way to debug this? The site is on a Linux system and I have shell access.

Hi,

probably the best way would be to use XOOPS debug. Can you access other pages likehttp://SITE/user.php andhttp://SITE/admin.php? (If yes - login, go to the admin and enable debug mode in admin -> preferences -> general)
Also you can enable debug mode with phpmyadmin (it should be a value in PREFIX_config table, but I'm not shure which one)

Also you can check web server logs for errors ...
