Table 'xoops_membership_info' already exists

I installed Membership 1.0 and received some error message I don't recall what it said.
Since the module did not have an uninstall icon I deleted the module's folder through FTP.
after searching I found a good copy and tried to install it.

I got this message

Installing Membership
Table 'xoops_membership_info' already exists
Unable to install membership. Error(s):

I know this is a good module I have installed it on two other sites since and it works fine there.

I have searched for xoops_membership_info but cannot find it.

note: useing XOOPS 2.0.16

What can I do?

Hiya,

If your hosting Cpanel has phpmyadmin installed, you can go in and delete it from there.

If you cannot do that try this.

open the modules xoops_version.php and look for the lines with the database tables and comment them out and install the module again. Once it is installed, uncomment those lines and then uninstall the module. Once you have done that you should be able to install the module properly.

Yes I have Cpanel phpmyadmin
Not sure how to use it.

I opened it and looked arround and found
xoops_membership_info
and also
xoops_membership_audit

There are a lot of choices I don't understand.
What should I do and is there a way to back this up first ... just .....incase?

I did not see any delete option I did see drop.

Ok I think I got it.
Read docs for Cpanel.. exported copies just in case.
deleted... xoops_membership_info ...drop was delete.
got same error for xoops_membership_audit.
repeated process for xoops_membership_audit.
then it installed OK
