I wanted the same thing...I was told and i quote: uid on xoops.org can't be changed. lol

uid meaning the user id number cannot be changed without orphaning all your posts. uname on the other hand, can be changed without ANY difficulties. In fact, it use to be standard practice to change the uname of users who got banned for spamming.

Nonsense - this can be done easily - I've done it several times when people have asked me - and for spammers.

If you ask DJ or Christian nicely - they may do it.

The other "moderators" have little any access for most things.
