Does ant one know is there a spotlight Module that will work with news 1.55 and if so can you tell me where to download it ?

News has it's own spotlight feature in the 'latest news' block. If you use the 'tabbed' format, the spotlight article (selected in the block's control panel) has it's own tab and picture.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

The latest version of Bandit-X's XMSpotlight module certainly works with News 1.55.

Can't remember from where I downloaded it, so PM me with your email address and I'll send a copy over.

Or maybe Bandit-X will popm along and tell you

i'm gonna release a new version of it on monday so i took the download offline for now. since the new version may require you to uninstall the old one.

sry i've been a bit busy, but here is a link to the current working version. with some bug fixes
xmspotlight_09212k7.zip

so if you already have it installed.. you should uninstall the old.. and install the new..
Blockadmin was taken out..
template files have a different file extension..
has an autospotlight feature that SMD put in.(you can set how many recent news articles to automatically show)
More language constants were put in.

i'll make an announcement with more info later tomorrow.. 24hours from now.. busy week.
