Everything is gone in admin panel!

I opened my admin panel today, because were complaining that the album module wasnt working.. Everything was completely gone from the admin panel.. ( the whole navigation menu on the right hand side). I was also given an error saying to change the mainfile.php's cmd settings to 444. can someone please help my website become back to normal? Thank You in advance!

In the first instance you need to:

1. Check the CHMOD setting of your mainfile.php and make sure it's "444"
2. Check the CHMOD setting of youe "cache" directory and make sure its "writeable". Start with CHMOD setting of "777".

Report back if thise two actions don't sort things for you

i did both of those.. and still its the same situation.
i have XOOPS 2.0.7.3 installed

IIRC, there's a file called adminmenu.php inside your cache directory....... check that this is writeable too.

Have made any changes to your site recently - new modules added, for example?

yup, they are all 777.
no i havent made any changes.. the only thing that happened was that my account with the webhosting company went over the storage limit(but now its fine), so i dont know if that has anyting to do with it.

Hi,

Have you tried clearing your "templates_c" folder (except for index.hmtl)?

If this doesn't work then I'm at a loss to help and maybe someone can?

well, its still not working..
is there a way i save the database n some valuable files from this XOOPS and make another XOOPS and then transfer the files over?

does deleting /cache/adminmenu.php do anything?

can anyone else see the menu?

that file is already 0kb, im guessing i need to replace it?
