A friend of mine has set up a Xoops-based forum -

http://www.swingjunction.co.uk/modules/newbb/

but the 'View new posts' option

http://www.swingjunction.co.uk/modules/newbb/viewpost.php?new=1

doesn't work.

In theory, this should show all new posts since the last user log-in, but it doesn't (I've tested it many times).

Can anyone help on this please? The message board will be much more useful with this feature working.

If it's CBB 1.16a, it should work. Uses a cookie though, so depends on browser settings. If it's a later version, e.g. CBB 3.* that feature is broken. There is however a bug fix on this forum somewhere. You'll need to search for it.
