Xlanguage is so clever, I love it!

Mine is working almost fine however, it is occassionally not displaying correctly.

Sometimes it shows the opening language tag [en] or [zh] before the text.

I've tried re-installing, checked all the files have actually uploaded but its still the same. It seems to particularly affect the Block titles

Can anybody help me? Its so close to working perfectly.

Thanks for any help!!!

I think this is something to do with the caching settings...

Thanks! But I'm a bit of a novice, any idea how I can go about checking the settings?

Can anybody else help me on this?

I've tried everything I can think of

I've re-uploaded both xlangauge and Frameworks several times each to make sure there are no missing files.

But the problem remains

Basically modules themselves display fine between the 2 languages but when I add content it shows the tags [en] or [zh] in some but not all places.

It also sends my Xpress pages crazy when I try to display in the language I added second, ie in the case of: [en]some english[/en][zh]some Chinese[/zh]the Chinese pages are all over the place

help!!!!!!!!

Still really need some help on this one - please!!!

On my site most modules display great in both langauges - so I guess there is no problem with Xlangauge but one module has a problem - MXDirectory (or XDirectory - I've tried both) can't display the 2 languages properly.

They always include lots of [en] or [zh] language tags and sometimes the page layout just goes plain crazy.

But if I enter business listings in just one language all is fine

What can i do? I really need a Business directory on the site.

Solved it finally!!!

The problem was in the database of the (m)xdirectory - the limit for the number of characters premitted for various tables was too low when both languages were added.

My second language is Chinese and 1 Chinese character is formed using a combination of 8 numbers so the limit is soon reached when it might not be with 2 european languages.

So I used phpmyadmin to change the structure of the tables.
