Hi,

I am very new to all this xoops, and was getting on tremendously with it, managing to follow the beginner guides to get my site up and running with some success.

However, today I have attempted to install Formulize 2.3 and reg_codes 2.3, and I have made a complete mess of it. What I think I have done is stupidly upload files from the /include directory in the unpacked Formulize install package, and then I have updated my System Module.

Unfortunately, I didn't understand what was in these files, and I think in particular I have replaced a proper, working common.php with the version that should have been used to install Formulize.

The upshot of this is that every screen on my site now gives me

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xoops_getmodulehandler() in /home/fridger8/public_html/include/common.php on line 43

Is there some way I can rebuild the system files now that I have replaced them with the versions I backed up before I started all this?

I am still searching the forums to see if I am just looking in the wrong place, so please forgive my newbism if this is something obvious... but I am panicking!

I would be happy to provide some sort of FTP access to the site to anyone who thinks they could genuinely help me.

ok, ok.

My FTP program had got jammed up, and had not, in fact, uploaded the backups of the /include programs that I had instructed it to.

So this is now a non-problem, and the panic is slowly receding, and this post can safely be taken out the back and disposed of.

Thanks.
