Hi All,
I wonder if there is some CMS application like XOOPS exists thats implemented based on Portal-Portlet using JSR specifications, probably may be using WSRP (web services for remote portlets), etc.. I know most probably it will be java application, but I wonder if any of you know about such thing..
I am looking for open source, but if you know anything else please mention that too..

The last I knew of was Magnolia CMS. (Open Source Edition - The difference is if you dont buy enterprise they wont offer up support... but who needs support anyway

)

Magnolia is built upon the JSR-170 Java Content Repository (JCR) specification

IDK, Sourceforge FTW.

Hi,
Thats very good to know about Magnolia effort using JSR 170.. But JSR 170 is not Portal/Portlet specification. It is JSR 168 or 286. I was looking for something like XOOPS thats based on Portal/Portlet technology preferably using JSR 168 or 286 and also have WSRP support. Now this solution may not be as simple or cheap as XOOPS because it will require Portal server, but there are open source portal servers out there.. I think the world is moving towards Portal/Portlet technology and Web services, and I wish open source community also move towards it asap.
