I did reply once, but I can't see it. mmmmmmm

Any way I recently successfully streamed through the webshow module, was pretty cool too.

Doesn't seem to work with the blocks though, although I can't get any media to work through the modules block, so perhaps a bug.

Anway if your serious about a shoutcast, then you should perhaps try this as an option, it works.

Hope this is of some help.
Kind Regards.

I really could do with the same myself.

There is a php-nuke module which looks fantastic, I've already sent an E-mail to the developer to request him to support XOOPS also.

His nuke module costs something like $15 but it sure looks worth it.

Other than this I've not seen many CMS modules for shoutcast, most of what I've seen is integration through blocks, and direct code into the themes.

I believe XOOPSDesign did a site recently that had some kinda integration with a shoutcast, but I don't think it was as detailed as what you would like.

This was XOOPSDesigns article:

https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3769

Here is the article for the website they worked on:

I love the site, and the shoutcast despite not being able the site due to language barriers.

If you ask Ana from XOOPSDesign nicely she perhaps might have a better idea on how to achieve what you want too.
Kind Regards.

OK I've just received a reply from the developer of the nuke module, he seems interested in porting his module, however there are currently some limitations on how his module works.

His module works with information stored within a MySQL database that is provided from by a broadcasting piece of software.

This software however is not cheap, and currently retails at $299 or 5 monthly installments.

I've tested and assessed the software and in my opinion it is worth it's weight in gold, have a look at the following website for more information on the broadcasting software:

http://www.spacialaudio.com/products/sambroadcaster/

I realise however that this software is out of a lot of peoples budgets, I have therefore requested that the nuke module developer ports his module and makes an addition, where by the script can connect to the Shoutcast server and relay the details from that. Shoutcast servers however are very minimal on the details they provide, and as such will not be as good as getting the info from SAM-Broadcasting.

SAM-Broadcaster does however provide some php scripts, which looks pretty niffty but they are standalone on your server and not part of any module.

Anyway long story short now, I've requested he makes the module for XOOPS, so it supports both advanced stats from the above stated software and also basic stats from the shoutcast server.

His module currently sells at around $15.

He does seem interested to port the module, however nothing is set in stone as of yet, and I'm awaiting further correspondence with him.

I hope this is of some help, I know many XOOPSers have requested such a module in the past, and some have just had to settle with a half integration.
Kind Regards.
