I have been using XOOPS for some time on a couple of different sites and found it to be great.

I am currently using it to develop an Intranet for my employer and have come across a stange issue with the search function.

If I use the main search form it will not look in certain modules.

If I use the advanced search though then I can look for results in these modules.

I have had a look at the xoops_version.php for the modules and they are all showing.

$modversion{'hasSearch'] = 1;

The modules not listing in the search are:

CBB V 3.08
Smartsection Clone V2.13, other clones of this module are working.
CatAds v1.4

I have managed to solve this issue and a few other things being affected.

It was down to the memory limit in the PHP.ini

I changed this from 8 to 16 and now the search function works fine.

I cna only presume that it was only searching modules until it reached the memory limit.
