Removing search bar?

I'd like to remove the search bar and submit button from my site, because it gets in the way of the banner. I'm using the "montisblack" theme.

My site is: www.pr0n.bioxion.com

I'm not sure where the site is calling the info for this from. I have a "theme.html" file in the root/themes/montisblack folder, but it doesn't seem to be calling the info from there... because if I edit anything it doesn't save - I can even delete this file from my FTP but it doesn't effect anything.

Any help would be great, this search bar is ruining my banner. :)

Thanks,

Make sure that the option is checked to "yes" for "check template for modifications" in the system/preferences/general screen. None of your modifications will show up until then. Just something to check.
