blocks problem...if i hide a block for "registered" it changes also for "unregistered" and viceversa

if i hide a block for unregistered...it hides also for registered...and and so on...
i tried to delete all (also the db) but it still continue

Remember access privs must be explicit by group.

Which version of XOOPS are you using??? Can we see the problem???

i'm using XOOPS 2.0.16

if i hide something for registered...it hides also unregistered! it's like they were the same thing!!!
it's illogical

Go into blocks Admin and find the block(s) that you are interested in and click on "Edit". You can set the access permissions from there - just highlight which user-groups you want to be able to see the block and click on "Submit".

I've found this to be the most certain way of setting things as I want - far less bother than trying to set things via the main Blocks Admin page.

Hi there.

Try to manage this by groups, not from the blocks side.

Admin -> Groups -> Registered Users -> Block section -> Untick block You want to hide
Admin -> Groups -> Anonymous -> Block section -> Tick block You want to show
(or vice versa).
