Hi

I am wondering if XOOPS will allow me to do the following?

1) I would like to connect to a database so the visitors can upload information to the site.

2) Once users have logged into the site they only see the information that they have entered into the site

Is this possible and if so which extensions would allow me to do this?

ya its possible by creating a group for each user lol

or you can use formulize/page then selecting one record per user.make your own database and create forms for users to input data and then create reports so data is presented to the user.

there are no templates for formulize so it is difficult to modify the layout.

Using the Pageworks module, which works together with Formulize, you can use PHP to make any kind of page you want drawing on data in a form. You can actually template the output of a Pageworks page if you call the XOOPS template object in your Pageworks page, but that's getting a little complicated, and isn't necessary.

Using Pageworks is not the same as having a fully templated system, we know. But it does give you some more flexibility if you want to present data, or forms, in very customized ways.
