It might be the lack of sleep, or it could be fustation...
but at this point in time it has me dumfounded.


Ive been tring to get the <{$xoops_contents}> to have a fixed width of 540px while keeping it in the <div>

but ither way i go.
in the theme.html
<div id="content" style="width:540px">
          <{$xoops_contents}>
        </div>

or in the style.css with
#content {width: 540px;}
div#content {width: 540px;}
div.content {width: 540px;}


the content will overcome the 540px limit.

problem solved, the lack of sleep was the problem.
