xoops shop v0.2b fatal error

Hi, am a complete novice with XOOPS and been doing ok setting up my site.

but i installed the XOOPS shop v0.2b and when i try to go to the block by clicking the link i get the following error

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it

Where and how do i enable the register_globals?

i am using default template with dream_on theme.

xoops version 2.0.16

As it say, it is a setting in php.ini file. It is not recomended to use register globals ON for security reasons.

So not advisable to do then?

i cant even find the php.ini file

Absolutely

It is not part of XOOPS if you are looking there. It is part of your OS/PHP installation and its location may vary ...
