I'm trying to help a friend improve on his last forum based rpg game and someone recommended using a cms to make it easier to run, so before I take a deeper look into XOOPS I want to know if it will do what were looking for.

I want a page with all characters listed on it which leads to a page listing details about each character. What I need is an admin to be able to log in, go to some kind of form and fill in the character details which is then added to the database, that will then automatically add a link on the character page and create another page with all the info about the character the admin just added.

maybe you can use new "smartprofiles" in your site.
i dont test it myself but you can give it a try!
