Ok I have read all of the other topics regarding changing the mainfile.php "DEFINE XOOPS_URL" to reflect the new domain, however doing so only breaks the site. The error I get is that it is not defined within the script, which is wrong because I editted it just fine, reset it to read only, and replaced the file. Then if I try to change the domain back to what it was, the error stays (Even after a DNS Flush) and I have to restore the file from the previous backup when it was unedited, before the site will work again. What am I doing wrong?
On a side question, can I have the physical path as something else such as D:\www\sitename, and have the url defined as
http://www.diffsitename.com? The physical path can't be changed since it is the primary domain hosted on the account. THe other domain is merely an extra domain/domain alias off of the primary domain, so they share the same physical path in all reality.
