I put in the rescue password with 10 characters, but when i go back to the option settings where it says input the rescue password it comes out to more than 10 characters say more like 20..I don't know what the characters are because they are hidden. Should i be concerned that the password is coming up in with more characters than i entered?

No. At least I don't think so. I have the same thing and assume it's a security feature, to make it harder to guess it if someone saw the **********'s.
