How to directly upload files onto my server with PD-Downloads

Module PD-Downloads

The module says that "Its also possible to upload files and images directly onto your webserver."

How?

I want to upload using Filezilla but I cant find any folders or anything in the modules structure that relate to file storage. So if I want to directly upload where should I upload the files to?

What I do with modules like this is to right click an uploaded image and get it's properties.

This reveals where it is in your site.
