I have been running CBB 3.04 on a XOOPS 2.0.13.2 system for months no with no problems. Several users posted yesterday and the day before. I haven't touched a thing on the server in weeks. Then, today, everyone started to get the following error when attempting to post messages:

/modules/newbb/post.php on this server
***

I checked the permissions on the server and they are all set correctly. I've tried adjusting them, even to the point where I did a chmod 777 on the directory and the file itself, but no luck.

Has anyone seen this? Can anyone offer insight? Or better, a fix?

(My initial thought is to go ahead and do the upgrade to 2.0.15 and see if that helps, but I somehow doubt that it will.)

New info:

I can post fine when logged in as an admin, but cannot post at all as a regular user.

Insights? Anyone? Please?

Strange one ...

Some random thoughts as i really have no good direction to go:

- revoking permissions from registered users and adding them again
- creating a new group ... testing with that
- check/repair db? (sessions table?)
- downloading the site ... testing locally

I think Herko had this issue once.. but i've not seen anyone else with it.
