I've read a few posts about changing the unregistered users permissions.. it sounds like it's simply a choice like "Webmaster", "Registered", "Anonymous Users" & "Moderators". Unfortunately.. I don't know if it because I have the newest version of XOOPS (2.0.14), but I don't have "Unregistered Users" as an option.

I'd like to allow guests or unassigned/unregistered users to view the news and some content pages.

I've tried creating a "Unregistered Users" out of desperation, didn't work hehe. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Anonymous/unregistered are the same thing. Simply go to Admin/Groups and set the permissions for anonymous users.
