When I try to post in the forums or create a new topic in the News module, the server returns a:
403 Server configuration does not allow access to this page.

I have triple checked the CHMODs and all of them are at least writeable by the owner. What else can I check??

How about READ permissions? Just a guess....

yup, checked the reads too, no go

everything is set to read for everybody and write for owner
