News Module - Which Blocks work with it

Im having trouble getting the blocks working with the news module - are there certain ones that work and others that dont or am I doing something wrong??

Ive checked permissions/groups and check visibility and such but they dont seem to want to show up, someone help, Im getting frustrated

Version of Xoops, version of News???? Do you have the latest version of News, which is 1.44?

What blocks are you having trouble with???

NM - Im a moron - I didnt check to see if "topics to use" was selected. Is there a hack anywhere so that it might always choose to pick all the topics, so that everytime I add a new topics I dont have to go redo that??
