Need a lil help here. Im having problems with new installs of XOOPS 2.0.14 on my server. Here is what I know

I installed the .zip version first with all kind of errors.

So I may change the default (XOOPS Site - Just Use it!)

In the site name / slogan for site. Now this is where the problem is it doesnt work anymore?

I changed the info to my fave stuff and hit the old "Go Button" at the bottom to update the new info. The only problem is it doesn't work anymore. Yes the words I put there are still there. You can even view source from the frontend and the words are there. The only problem is XOOPS doesn't display the words on the title bar. It still says XOOPS Site - Just Use It???

Okay so figure I messed up somewhere (highly unlikely) I've been installing XOOPS for a long time now. I also ran the xoops_md5.php and all was well.

So off I go and delete the new XOOPS site which was installed from a 2.0.14.zip file and then I re: download except this time I chose the 2.0.14.tar.gz

So I install the tar.gz version of 2.0.14 with almost the same problems from above. Except for the xoops_md5.php giving me three warnings. So I uploaded the file's again out of the tar.gz didn't work so I tryied the .zip no luck. Now get this I used the 2.0.14rc.zip and the md5 said all was good... Go figure...

Check this out now the title bar say's

(XOOPS Custom Installation) And in admin its say the default...

I swear I think it is the errors from the textsanitizer.php

I switched the textsanitizer.php around from all the different packages 2.0.13.2 all the way up with both the tar.gz and .zip

Im stumped but ready to delete XOOPS again and go for another install.

Btw Im hosted over at servint on a vps so I know the problem is not with my hosting. I've reinstalled XOOPS 2.0.13.2 on another account and it works fine. Err... lol

In other words, you can see: in head of the code, but your browser displays "Xoops Site - Just Use It" in the title?

If I understand that correctly, then I have no doubts your problems are with your browser cache and not with the XOOPS system.
If possible, you could provide us with a link to your page, so others can try to look at it.

Browser cache was indeed my problem. I hit refresh many times to no avail. The one thing I didn't do was close the browser. I feel like such a fool...
