Can anybody tell me how to change the top menu bar content?

the default it:
Roughhausen • News • Forum • Voting • Members • Downloads • Links • FAQ • Contact

but what if I wanted to have some of the other mods installed take the place of members of FAQ, is this possible?

any suggestions or directions welcomed

I guess you are talking about a horizontal top menu, which is part of the theme you have selected.
If thats the case, then the contents is usualy hardcoded into the theme.html file of your theme. You will have to manually edit that file to change the links to your new modules.
