[solved] news modules 1.44 / xoops 2.0.14 upgrade problem

guys i upgraded my news module from 1.1 to 1.44 and all the news stories have disapeared even though i ran the upgrade.php script and updated the module as well ,

has anyone any ideas as the home page of the site goes to the news page and theres 66 pages of news stories

have set the permissions and still can't see the stories but i can see that the 66 pages of stories are still there? anyone any ideas?

Not sure if this will help, but it's worth a shot.

Check to see if any templates need to be re-generated.

how do i regenerate the templates?

System Admin > Templates

See if the news module templates needs to be re-generated.

haven't got the template cloned but updated the news module templates by clicking update in system->modules->news->update

got it sorted , cloned the template and it's working fine , crisis averted thanks for the help very much appreciated
