IPB Login Error

IPB happens to mess with my XOOPS when I installed it. I replaced certain files that needed to be replaced for the IPB to integrate with Xoops. The thing is, I'm getting following message now.

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getinstance() in /usr/export/www/hosting/ncparkour/index/include/common.php on line 53"

When I replace the IPB common.php with the original Xoops' file, I can't log in to the IPB. Can someone help?
