Smartmedia - cannot change clips, folders or categories

Smartmedia works well and has become my favorite module.
The only problem I noticed is, that I cannot change anything subsequently. The changes are shown (the database was updated sucessfully) and when I open the clip-form again, the new datas are shown in the form. But when I open the webside the old version is to be seen. So, when I want to change something, I have to delete it and start from the beginning.
I use XOOPS 2.2.4
