how to mark 'online' icon and 'my fav' icon ?

is it possible somehow
to star i.e put a star or similar icon by the side of the name
of every news or forum post or picture or etc which I have added
to my bookmark ?

Similarly is it possible to show an awake icon by the name of each user who is online
and a buddy icon if I have bookmarked or added the user to my favorite ?


Another question :
The account panel one gets after loggin in shows posts made by the user -
how does it paginate or not paginate if there are hundreds of posts ?
