Even when I set the file permissions correctly, I get the notice that file permissions are NOT correct. View image here:

Any ideas on what do do would be greatly appreciated.

Usually this means the files are not set to the proper user. Make sure that the user owns all the files in it'S webRoot.

webRoot? Is that case sensitive? Why does webRoot have to own the files?

Can you provide more information?

THANKS A MILLION!

no no, example... in a regular linux webserver environement, the users ("myusername") will have a directory structure something like /home/myusername/public_html

The public_html is what I call the webRoot. So all files that are in public_html are the public viewable files and must be set to the "myusername" user in order to be able to run them.

If the files were uploaded as a different user, example "root", then you may encounter problems since the files in the public_html are not owned by the user(myusername) .

This would give you the problem you mentionned above.

I am not sure yet why this works, or how. But, I disabled SELinux, and now I get the "all clear".
