I have the original version of WF-Sections and have been waiting for ages for an upgrade to their newer version. After not hearing, or seeing in xoops.org, I've decided to look for another alternative. Is there any module that can offer more and has a conversion script?

WF- modules are not developed anymore. The autor moved to another project. You could try SmartSection from smart factory - www.smartfactory.ca But I'm not shure if there is a conversion script ...

I think there was xf-sections, but never try it.

As the previous poster mentioned, SmartSections is the heir apparent of WF Sections. Go to their site using the link he gave you. It's well worth going through the upgrade process. It's greatly improved over the worthy wf-sections.
