How do I Change 'YIM 'to 'XFIRE' on user info?

I'd like to change the 'YIM' (or indeed any of the IM headers) to XFIRE.

Most of my m8s use xfire and not yim or aim or icq..it would be nice to be able to edit just the header so that peeps could input their xfire addy..

i know it must be fairly easy, i just cant find it in the templates :)

You'll need to change the each html file that presents the label for YIM to Xfire. Then update your templates to use the modified html. Look for the templates in modules/system

If you do this the DB will continue to store your info in the YIM field.

..Or you can use the field asigned for YIM to xfire, in that case you only have to edit the language file...

in XOOPS 2.0 locate modules/system/language/english/admin/user.php and find line:
define("_AM_YIM","YIM");
edit ONLY the text in red

define("_AM_YIM","YIM"); becomes
define("_AM_YIM","XFIRE");

in XOOPS 2.2 locate
modules/profiles/language/english/main.php and find line
and again edit ONLY the text in red

define('_PROFILE_MA_YIM','YIM'); becomes
define('_PROFILE_MA_YIM','XFIRE');

what XOOPS version are you using?

Extended Profiles is a sweet module that lets you customize your registration forms.

You can add any field type imaginable or customize the existing ones.

I believe it is only available with 2.2 but it is a stock module for it
