I've just started using XOOPS and love it. The ease of use is great. I have already used it for a customers website. Currently i am working on a new design for my companies site and would like to use Xoops. It has everything we need and then some.

My questionis regarding the login box. If i go into the admin panel and hide it, i have no way of logining in. Our site isn't going to be one where people can sign up, post, etc. Basiclly it's going to be an information protal style site.

Is there away to hide the login box from viewers, but still be able to login to make changes when needed?

Thanx in advanced.

Hi and welcome to the Xoops-Forum

Here is the solution:http://www.yourdomain.com/user.php

Then:http://www.yourdomain.com/modules/system/admin.php

You can hide the login box. Then when you want to log in, just go directly to the URL:

www.yoursite.com/user.php

That will take you to the login screen.
