XOOPS installation couldn't be completed. Every step before "confirm database settings" was OK, and correct setting were shown on the "confirm database settings" page, but when "Next" was clicked, it went to a totally blank page.

Web server: Apache 2.0.52
PHP: 5.1.2
MySql: 3.23.58
XOOPS: 2.2.3a
OS: WinXP Pro

Aparche was up and running with ability to display php pages. MySql was running as a service. Correct user name and password was supplied during installation.

Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated!!!

Make sure your MySQL extensions are loaded in your php distribution. This was changed to be default to no instead of yes in php 5 afaik and would result in that problem.

XOOPS is installed succesfully now. Thank you very much for your solution and quick response. I am glad I asked, otherwise it would take me forever to find out that my MySQL extension wasn't loaded in my php.
