Bold main menu links depending on permissions

I'd like to bold the main menu links for the members who sign on so they can clearly see what additional links they have access to as a member. I don't want to bold all links, just those accessible to members. Anyone know how to do this?

Interesting idea - you could also use multimenu to display a menu for none-members, called "members only" - if the content was permissioned, they'd not be able to see the items ...

I'll give multimenu a try. It sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
