opensearch is a feed that can be generated and syndicated to web search engines for inclusion in their search results. There's a module for WordPress, for example, that pulls site content together into the appropriate format which can then be included in opensearch compatible web search engines like amazon's A9.

It would be great if our XOOPS sites would generate the compatible feeds.

Not a good enough coder myself to do it; but hope somebody recognizes the potential and takes it on.

Welll xPress is a XOOPS conversion of Wordpress by Phppp - perhaps the Wordpress code will work with this module?
