if i m upgrading my XOOPS version 2.0.13 to 2.2.3 will the modules and all the data that i created in 2.0.13 lost?i have installed certain modules and customised it will it all be lost?then what r the precautions to be taken if i m upgrading

Just a suggestion for you. I would wait for XOOPS 2.3 found Here which currently is still an alpha.

With 2.2.3 lots of problems with some existing modules. And upgrading from 2.0.13 to 2.2.3 can be a nightmare.

From 2.0.13 you will be able to upgrade directly to 2.3 when it is stable, If you go to 2.2.3/4 you will have to wait until XOOPS 2.4 final is released before upgrade.

I have seen a lot better luck with 2.2.3 as a new install than as an upgrade (just personal observation) so me personally would advise against upgrading to that version.
