Hey all,
I'm new to XOOPS module extension and by doing a little research, custom blocks cannot take advantage of the Smarty Tags like the default blocks for a module can. I need to create some custom blocks that can use the Smarty Tags and I was hoping you could help me out. Is there a tutorial on extending a module or for adding blocks to a module that would allow for use of the Smarty Tags?

Take care,

Jeremy

P.S. - The site I'm managing is on XOOPS 2.0.9.2.

I have figured out how to add blocks to a module by browsing the source.

Take care,

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy

Do you mean adding a module to a block and not vice versa?

I also have the same problem as you. I'm trying to use Smarty tags in custom block, and it didn't work.

Can you share how you resolved the problem?

Thank you.
