I'm working on a sister site to MyWebResource called MyPCResource. The basic concept is the same for MPC as MWR, the difference being the focus is on PCs instead of web design.
That being said, I want to make the site have a "familiar" feel so that users who visit MPC and MWR will instantly recognize that the sites were designed and are managed by the same person. However, I also want the MPC site to be a little bit more "flashy".
Here's a screenshot of what I've come up with so far. The design is still in the early stages of development.

Notes: The layout is being tested on MWR. The block placement on MPC will be similar, but not identical.
Any feedback or suggestions would be great.
