Is there any way to hide the "Link Title" on the actual page? Reason being I want to label each page so I know what it is in the admin page but I don't want what I name the page to show up on the actual page itself (it's displayed at the top left corner of the page).

You need to edit the Templates.
In Administration--->System--->Templates

Clone the default template.

From this cloned template, in Content edit the ct_index.html and remove the first line
<div class="blockTitle"><{$title}></div>


Then in System--->Pereferences--->General set the "Cloned template" as the on used for your site.
