Selected Module Error

I just installed Xoops. When I login, I get the
message "Selected module does not exist!". What does this mean and how do I correct it ?

What template you are using and did you realy install XOOPS at all?

I did not install any template. I just did the installation.
When I bring up the webpage
http:192.168.1.98:2223/xoops/html, the home page comes up with the message "Selected module does not exist!"

I do get a logon screen.

Go to administration side, Modules admin and check which modules are installed.

Best one try to read FAQ that I posted above.
