Please help: Problems with my sites registration process

Some of the users are having problems when they try to regisar. When the comple the process it says page not found but if i go into the admin section and click on find users they are there howeveer when i click on the it says no user selected.

Please Help!

Ask your users if they received an e-mail to activate your site. You will get the "User Not Found" error until their account is activated.

They need to click the link in the e-mail to activate the account.

Great thanks for the help quick qustion can i disable this? if so how.

The settings for activating users is in System Admin - Preferences - User Info Settings.

ok it was under System Preferences>Authentication Options

Authentication Method
XOOPS
LADP

If not that one than what one of these (follow the link to see a screenshot of the page)

select XOOPS auth method..

ldap is for networks i believe

it was already on that.
Is it one of the others in the screenshot?

OK, 2.2.3. Go to preferences - Extended Profiles, at "Select activation type of newly registered users" Select the type you want to use. If you want them activated automatically, choose it there.

Great thanks for the help thing have change since the last vesion of XOOPS that i used.
