you have to give a little more information about which comments, in what module, etc. I saw your other similar note on the blog comments, but again, people would need to know which blog module you are using. For instance, this is normal if you are using NobuNobu's Wordpress ME module and have selected to use the wordpress comment system instead of the XOOPS comment system. Wordpress has it's own comment block that you have to set to show, unless you use XOOPS comments, in which case they do show up in the XOOPS comments block.
