I'm moving my XOOPS site and i need to run it on a different server .. have u got an idea on how can i change the MySQL user that has rights to connect to the database ? On the old server the site was installed using user root and no password .. now on the new server i got a username and a password for the MySQL server.

Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

The settings for this is in mainfile.php. Open it in your favorite text editor, and change the information to match your server.
