Hi,

I've recently installed the latest version of XOOPS and am attempting to have my users authenticate via LDAP.

I'm at the point where I can login to the directory server, and where XOOPS searches for the user. However, I've found that for LDAP to work, the user must already exist in XOOPS (with a dummy pw), otherwise, a "Sorry, no corresponding user info was found" error results.

I was of the understanding that with LDAP synchronisation, if a user didn't exist, then they would be created automatically.

Has anyone got this working? Is there anything I can try?

Thanks very very much

P.S. sorry if this was posted in the wrong board..??

Hi,

For the moment this hack is for LDAP Authentication and not LDAP synchronisation.
The LDAP Synchronisation is planned for the next release.
