Making xDirectory Similar to Folsomliving.com?

I just installed xDirectory, but found it's functionality to be a bit less than expected. I was hoping to see something like http://www.folsomliving.com (the example site).

Are there any hacks that could bring the functionality up to this point? I'm especially interested in the various levels of advertising (gold, silver, etc.), and having different functions based on customer level.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!
