Modules inop?

I just installed XOOPS yesterday. I added some of the optional Modules - Downloads, Headlines, and Sections. They were installed last night. Now they've shown back up with the other unactivated modules as if nothing ever happened but when I try to install them I get an error saying:

---
Installing Sections

Table 'xoops_seccont' already exists

Unable to install sections. Error(s):
Back to Module Administration page
---

Any ideas? Did I do something wrong?

Another issue I'm having is that the database won't remember my Blocks settings (location, visibility, etc). Again, any ideas?

Which version of XOOPS are you using?
Are you getting any MySQL Debug output?
Are you getting any PHP Debug output?

You can remove the tables for the module manually through phpMyAdmin. Back up your database first!

I did a clean un/install and it seems to be working fine now. It's XOOPS 2.0.9.2 (provided by my server's Fantastico). I wasn't getting any kind of database errors; the error message I posted previously was all.
