I am merging my website with another website..

How can I upload their .csv or .txt memberlist into my site so all of their members can have instant access to my website using their already established username and password ?

You would have to edit the .csv so that the fields data all line up with the table format and increment the record # for each.

I've done this several times using Excel and phpmyadmin.

I have been trying to do this without luck... can you give my some simple details ?
